Accokeek, MD -- Beretta USA team shooter Anthony Matarese's shooting skill and never quit attitude shone brightly as he once again stood on the podium at the World FITASC. Matarese roared back onto the international stage finishing third, and remains the only American to have stood on the World FITASC podium since 2005.
Shooting in his first competition since sustaining an injury in April, Matarese obliterated 191 out of a possible 200 targets using a Beretta 391 Urika2 Sporting. Matarese's 191/200 forced a third place shoot off with none other than Greg Wolfe, his longtime Beretta teammate. Once the smoke cleared, Matarese triumphed with a 20 to Wolfe's 17, securing the third place finish. Congratulations to both Anthony and Greg Wolfe!
