Accokeek, MD (October 27, 2011) Beretta USA team shooter Sgt. Vincent Hancock continues on his golden path to the 2012 Olympics, with his latest triumph coming at the Pan American games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Hancock bested a talented field, and set a Pan American record, on his way to the 2011 men’s skeet gold medal.
Obliterating 147 out of a possible 150 targets, including a perfect 25 in the final round, Hancock and his Beretta DT-10 brought home the gold medal for Team USA. This latest golden moment follows the U.S. Olympic Fall Trials where he stands in first place going into the final spring selections next May. Hancock certainly seems poised to defend his 2008 Olympic gold medal at the 2012 London games, where at the end of which he will hopefully retire another faithful Beretta over/under.
