Beretta U.S.A. Website a Winner, Catalog a Finalist at MCM Awards

ACCOKEEK, MD- Beretta U.S.A. was recently recognized at the 2011 MCM Awards, the industry's highest honors for multi-channel retailers, with the top award for its newly designed website and finalist distinction for its direct mail catalog. Multichannel Merchant honors the industry's best B-to-B and B-to-C multi-channel marketers. The MCM Awards are determined by a pool of judges that include some of the brightest minds in catalog marketing, ecommerce and cross-channel retail.
Beretta U.S.A.'s website (www.berettausa.com) garnered a silver medal (the highest award given this year) in the Sporting Goods and Hobbies e-commerce category. Comments from the judges on Beretta U.S.A.'s website included, "From the gorgeous lifestyle 'hero shots,' strong product photography, tie-ins with the print catalog, and the Beretta Gallery, this is an ecommerce site that really showcases the brand and captures its power and appeal.
The company's mail order catalog was a finalist in the Apparel Under $20 Million category. The Beretta U.S.A. mail order catalog features apparel for men and women, along with a host of clothing and gun accessories as well as various luggage pieces, range bags and cases. After reviewing the catalog judges responded with, "Nice use of people and photography...really helps with branding and selling the products," as well as, "Excellent and evocative copy ... providing key benefits and reasons to buy."
