Provide support to all departments by performing emergency electrical, electronic and mechanical repairs to all manufacturing and support equipment in the facility. Complete assigned preventive maintenance and routine work order requests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Troubleshoot and repair of AC/DC drives and motors, power supplies, electronic circuit boards, programmable logic controllers, CNC controls and interfacing, electrical wiring, switches, relays, and other various electrical and electronic systems. Installation or relocation of electrical conduit, wiring, outlets, breakers, transformers, lighting, and disconnect switches in accordance with the National Electrical Code requirements. Repair or replace mechanical components such as: gears, shafts, sprockets, chains, and bearing. Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to component level. Welding and fabrication: MIG, TIG, Stick, Oxygen/Acetylene, Plasma Cutter, hand and power tools. Assist in managing Hazardous Waste at facility, as needed. Plumbing skills include installation of piping, fittings, valves, pumps and related items. Perform Preventive Maintenance on production and support equipment. Follow required safety precautions while working with high and low voltage energized lines. Supervise and provide assistance, guidance, direction and leadership to Technicians. Assign work order requests to Technicians and ensure that needed repairs are performed to industry standards. Coordinate machine availability for repairs and preventative maintenance with Production Supervisors.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: An Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics with a minimum of 5 years experience or 10 years experience in an industrial environment working as a CNC Maintenance Lead Technician or similar position. Experience with CNC controls, PLC’s, interfacing, pneumatics and hydraulics. Read and understand electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics, drawings, and blueprints. Ability to use hand and power tools and electrical test equipment to repair industrial equipment. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems related to electrical/electronic machinery and equipment. Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to distinguish between colors and lift 40 pounds. Ability to work flexible shift based schedule. Must be able to work in a general manufacturing team environment. Exposures to occupational hazards within the manufacturing facility include: chemical, noise, high/low voltage, etc. Use of safety protective equipment required.
DESCRIPTION: Transport pistols and rifles from Assembly Department to the firing range for test firing. Test-fire pistols and rifles to validate proof test, functioning, targeting, and reliability testing. Identify functioning and targeting deficiencies and make necessary correction. Inspect and load magazines for firing. Responsible for the daily maintenance of the firing ranges. Document test results on targets, travelers, and malfunction reports. Check lead collection vessels as specified. Collect and maintain malfunctioning magazines for disposition. Move cases of ammunition, magazines, and trays of firearms. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous Quality Inspection experience helpful. Documented prior experience in safe firearms handling is required. Previous Military or Law Enforcement background preferred. Safe firearms handling. Protective equipment and clothing. Ability to lift and transport up to 75 lb. Make strenuous, repetitive arm and hand movements. Read and write English, count, add and subtract. Maintain written records. Work in extreme temperatures and high noise areas. Performance of duties required working in seasonally high and low temperatures, and in areas of high noise levels. Physical exertion is required to lift and transport up to 75 lb. Requires manual dexterity. Physical effort is required for continuous and strenuous arm and hand usage. Performance of task requires exposure to chemicals, lead, and powder propellant. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Manage, coordinate, and execute the activities of purchasing supporting projects and programs by securing and distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies needed to develop and test all new product programs. Develop and executes instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures. Prepare and issue purchase order and deliver conditions to determine present and future materials availability. Prepare market analysis reports and excel spread sheets to track and manage each individual project. Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and project targets and goals. Develop and install clerical and office arrangements to determine expediency of installing new or improved office machines. Negotiate contracts with foreign sales and distribution centers. Select and confer with suppliers to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; some related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Planning and sourcing preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word and Access required. Ability to work in a professional group office environment. Excellent communication skills; both oral and written. Strong computer skills in MS Office and JD Edwards preferred. 3-5 years manufacturing purchasing management experience or equivalent. Experience in a prior supervisory capacity required.
