- 2 pounds round steak,
cut into serving portions
- 1 package dried
onion soup mix
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup dry red
or white wine (optional)
Place all ingredients in a
skillet, cover and forget about them for about
1 1/2 hours, or until steak is tender. Thicken
gravy with roux, if desired, and serve over
rice. Serves 3 to 4.
