Etching of Diana

At the end of 2003 Beretta finished the Diana Set of four guns in 12, 20, 28 and .410 bore. The decision to make a set of four double-barrel hammer guns was taken in 1998. The four remaining Diana receivers and parts have been used to realize the one Beretta set of smooth bore side-by-sides. No chances to repeat these masterpieces.

The totally hand-made work (receivers are hand-sculpted, mouldings are double chiselled, hammers are totally hand-crafted) has been performed by Mr. Bortolo Gitti and Mr. Claudio Fioretti, the same talented craftsmen working on the Imperiale Montecarlo and the new Beretta SO10 premium grade guns. Triple compass turn lug fitting, lock and extractor mechanism crafting, polishing, finishing: it's all executed by hand with maniacal care. Carefully finished by hand the barrels boast the exclusive cold blueing giving them an extraordinary deep glossy black color and an elevated resistance to corrosion.
