I bought my 92 in the spring of 2013, immediately I upgraded it with the allen head grip screws, the skeletonized hammer, a set of 17 rd mags, wood grips, and the over sized mag release. I had to wait nearly a year before I finally caught the steel trigger w/ D hammer spring in stock and man was it worth the wait! I ordered it this past Thursday and it arrived bright and early today, on Wednesday. I wasted no time swapping them out and as I was testing the new trigger I just could not stop smiling. It literally makes it feel like a brand new gun. The composite trigger was somewhat jerky and the stock hammer spring was so heavy it made firing the weapon DA down right unreasonable. Now the trigger is so smooth I can only describe it as pure beauty, the SA break is as crisp as breaking a glass rod, and the DA pull is light enough that I doubt I'll bother cocking the hammer manually anymore bit still heavy enough to have a feel for when its about to fire. Bottom line is, I could not be happier with this product and am extremely baffled as to why this is not standard equipment on all 90 series handguns.
