Great Grips

I received these in the mail with both excitement and anticipation of a great set of grips. First the positives: The grips feel great, they are a few millimeters thicker than the plastic grips, which is great considering I have large hands. I feel that the increase in grip size will help maintain a tight grip while shooting. Furthermore, the grips are very well-made. They have a feeling that is smooth to the touch, almost like a baby's bottom haha. Honestly, the grips are all around great, there are no imperfections whatsoever and the stain had been evenly distributed on the both grips. Ultimately, they feel great and they fit perfectly on my 96/A1. Now to the negatives, or more like the one negative: Unfortunately, the photo supplied on this site is a few shades darker than what I had received. The photo displayed on the site is more of a cherry color while the grips are actually a bit darker than the natural color. All in all, amazing grips, the color still looks great!

You can do better

So many thing's I've purchased from Beretta and they're top notch, have to say this one missed the mark. I purchased these in hopes that I'd have a similar grip, while dressing up the M9 a bit. First, the good - they fit great. Other than that, mine were VERY dark, dark enough to provide little contrast with the pistol itself. Worse, although the finish is very nice, it looks like plastic - but they aren't. There is virtually no grain visible in the wood, adding to the plastic look. The checkering is rounded a bit on the ends, so it doesn't provide as good a grip feel as it could have. They also add about 1/16th of an inch to the thickness of the grip compared to the standard grips. Tried to strip and re-stain them a lighter finish, but that didn't work out well. In the end the craftsmanship is fine, they're well made, just be sure they're what you're looking for: a thicker grip, dark dark wood finish, with checkering that has no "bite". If you can get past those things, you'll probably like them.

The Perfect Upgrade

I love my Beretta 92. With these grips on it, this great handgun now looks as good as it performs. Nothing is lost in the ergonomics/bulk nor performance of your pistol with this parts change. If you are all about the aesthetics, then pick up these grips. They look a little darker on the pistol and in person but the contrast is still there and the natural look/feel of wood beats the synthetic/stock grips.

Best of the best

I was very happy with these grips. They gave my 92FS a great classic look. The quality of them was excellent and they felt great I would recommend these if you are looking for that finishing touch.

Very Nice!

These grips took a while to catch them in stock, and for the price are great value. Beretta Walnut feels great in your hands! Gets a lot of attention at the range too. I filled in the Beretta Trident with some gold paint, and they look super sexy!

Superb aesthetics and comfortable

These grips are very nice. They add a tiny bit of additional thickness over the stock plastic or aluminum grips. The wood feels great especially in the web of the hand, and the lower checkering gives good grip against the support-hand palm using a typical 2-hand grip. Very nice.

A Great Handle for a Serioys Gun

The workmanship is excellent. I used the black hex screws, they look dark and right on. The brass hex screws were not available. I have the oversize mag. release button and a little work was required to clear the grip (a little Dremel will do the trick).

disapointed

Good fit, but the wood is not near as good looking as any I have seen before including my first set. The grain and figuring is not good quality for a Beretta. They look cheep. I currently own another, 92 Inox compact, but wood grips are not available from Beretta. Ive had 6 92 FS a BERETTA shot gun and rifle.I have been a loyal Beretta customer, but very disapointed in the last grips I just bought.
