Very Effective Choke Tubes

This past week I received the OptimaChoke HP extended choke tubes in IC and Mod that I ordered for my A400 Xplor Light. This weekend I shot a round of sporting clays with the IC tube. I shot my usual 70% so the tubes are not a magic solution for poor technique by yours truly, but what I did notice is that when I was really in the right spot the clays really disintegrated into a fine powder, with very few large pieces left. I think that the tubes work as claimed by creating a tighter pattern. I can't wait to try them on some birds, it was like I was shooting a disintegration ray instead of a shotgun!

WHY NO LIGHT MODIFIED ?

The colored band is a big improvement over the non banded model because you can't read the choke constriction. Buy after a couple years why no light modified ? You can get light mod in a flush mount, but beretta needs to incude a light mod choke in this line up.

565 SP1 Sporting

My 686 bbls came chambered for Optima HP chokes, I bought my gun from a friend who sold me some Carlson and Briley after market chokes. I chose to replace those chokes with Beretta Chokes because : 1. The Beretta chokes seem to pattern better, hit harder. 2. They look much better than black and satin after market chokes. 3. These are the chokes designed fir this gun. while it's true they don't make me a better shot but they do seem to reach out there and powder the clay when you do hit them hard. They stay tight "Finger tight" I never use the wrench to crank on them. They clean up well and do not leak or blow by.

A-400 cylinder choke tube

Purchased this tube for use in clays, skeet, etc. It operated as expected - no problems. Saw slight improvement on targets over 30 yards. I'm a below average shooter - 65 to 75%.
