Cross Midsole and Outsole
The Vierzon Lady features our Cross outsole and midsole. This sole is comprised of a dual rubber compound that provides added comfort next to the foot and superior traction on a variety of surfaces.
Le Chameau Jersey Lining
This fabric offers a great next-to-skin feel. Jersey is a knitted fabric made up of 50% cotton (for comfort) and 50% synthetic (for its resistance to friction) and forms the lining of Le Chameau boots. Together with the natural rubber, this "mid-season" lining lets the boot mold to the foot.
Leak Tight Gusset and Tightening Loop
The Vierzon Lady features a leak tight gusset, enabling the wearer to more easily put on and remove the boot. Once on, the black tightening strap secures the boot in place.
Proprietary Natural Rubber
Le Chameau rubber boots are assembled by hand with all Natural Rubber and the highest quality materials. The Hevea Tree is the source of the natural rubber used by Le Chameau.
Natural Rubber provides superior resilience and elasticity compared to synthetic rubber, resulting in a more comfortable fit. Besides forming an excellent barrier to water, natural rubber offers a high resistance to wear, cutting, cracking and tearing. These properties are maintained in extreme or cold, making all Le Chameau boots suitable for all 4 seasons.
For the Best Fit…please use the following charts to determine your size when ordering.
Clothing Size Measurements (Measure your body)
Neck (men): Wrap tape around to the base of your neck in the front and allow extra room for comfort, or measure the collar length of your favorite shirt.
Chest/Breast: Wrap a tape measure evenly around the fullest part under the arms.
Waist: Wrap tape around your natural waistline, or where you actually wear your pants.
Hip: Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hip (approximately 7-8 “below the waist). Don’t forget to keep tape level.
Inseam: Best taken from a pair of your own pants which you like length of when wearing. Measure along the garment inseam from the crotch seam to the hem.
Sleeve length: From center back of your neck with your arm slightly bent, follow the tape around to your wrist bone.
Shoulders: Wearing a shirt, measure from one seam to the other crossing the shoulders.
CAUTION: Whenever Ordering Women’s Apparel “Made in Italy”
There is a significant difference between US and Italian styling and fit. Our experience tells us that it is best to order one size up.
This is the third pair of Chameau boots I have purchased. I was very pleased with my other boots (one neoprene lined and the other leather lined, both with zippered sides). I thought the gussets would be better as the zippers rust easily in seawater. What I was not prepared for was the flimsy quality of these boots. The boots buckle at the ankles when worn and the uppers collapse completely when the boots are removed: they will not stand upright (as shown in the photo) unless they are internally supported. These boots are an extreme disappointment to me as they are not working or hunting-quality boots. They also get clammy inside in contrast to the higher-quality versions of Chameau boots. Save your money for the good Chameau styles; this is clearly an economy style. I am surprised that Beretta stocks these boots at all as they do not reflect the generally excellent Beretta image.
