LasterMax Guid Rod Laser for Beretta 92 Series

I bought this guide rod laser for my Beretta 92FS Inox, and it fits and works perfectly. I had the Crimson Trace Lasergrips and this is far better than the grips because it is build on the guide rod it is more accurate in any distance and I can still pick my favorite grips from time to time. You have to take out your old disassembly latch and of course your old guide rod to install, but it is easy and smooth. The LMS-377 batteries are included and installed, and according the manual they should last one whole year for normal usage.

Ok laser guide

Overall, it's a pretty decent product. You do have to disassemble and remove the guide rod and the assembly catch but the directions are easy (I'm no gunsmith by any means). After I installed I called around to some of my local shooting facilities and the gunsmiths there said they'd install with no charge (literally took less than three minutes for me on my own). My only problem is the activation. You have to press a pin in the assembly catch in to activate and then press from the other side to shut off. It would have worked better as a button or a spring system to work with both left and right hand shooters. Having to fumble around with my left index finger to shut the damn laser off is annoying. The laser itself is accurate right out of the box. I didn't need correction at all (no windage or elevation to mess with). Overall, a good laser in-and-of-itself but I think there are better options out there, based solely on the activation and deactivation method.

Excellent Laser for 92's

Really a good aiming tool for this old guy. Bought this in Oct 2012, have fired 2 boxes of ammo, got very good groupings at 20-25 feet. Easy to use. accurate, helps me shoot straight! I had gun shop guy install for $5, although I'm guessing most could install themselves.

92FS Inox

I have 2 of these pistols that are customized with walnut grips and special screws so I thought a laser was not in my future. This rod guide laser is a better idea and allows for my gun's classic look along with the latest in technology.

Spot ON for the 92fs

I purchased this laser for my 92fs Inox with a little hesitation since there was no aiming adjustments. When Beretta had their 40% of cyber Monday sale it pushed me over the edge on purchasing. Installation was quick and easy with no special tools. Took longer to read the directions than to actually install. The laser co-witnessed with the sights on the pistol. Accuracy: At 30' with careful aim I put 4 out of 5 shots in the 3" ring. Quick fire double tap at 50' resulted with both in the 4" ring. Rapid fire all 15 in the 10" ring. The Fact that this laser can come pre aimed is a testament to Beretta's tight tolerances on the 92fs and saved a bunch of ammo usually spent sighting one in. The only thing that takes getting used to is turning it off via the push button with the opposing hand. I have conditioned myself to turn it on with my left hand making it easier to turn off instantly with my right whether at the ready or lowered. I will update if it doesn't last.

Guide Rod Laser

Best option for the 92FS. Pulsing laser easy to acquire. Ten inch grouping with laser only aim rapid fire not that difficult at 25 feet.

Excellent laser for an excellent gun

Excellent laser for an excellent, reliable, tough gun. Totally accurate. Controls situated perfect, with a nice feel. I have a Beretta holster for my 92FS. Funny thing, when I put the gun, with the laser, in the holster, the laser stays off. When I draw the gun the laser comes on automatically. Don't know why, but nice perk. Makes a perfect gun.
