On August 22, 2013, the shooting world lost a legend and a great friend in Leo Harrison. Leo was universally beloved as a generous competitor, taking time to help fellow shooters, even during competitions, in giving tips, mentoring, and coaching. Among his professional accomplishments, Leo was inducted into both the Missouri Trapshooting Hall of Fame and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. He served as captain of the ATA All American team 12 times, more than any other shooter, and won 26 Grand Championships. He was also inducted into the ATA Hall of Fame.
A lifelong resident of the state of Missouri, Leo is a legend in that state, where he was known not only for his award-winning shooting and other hobbies, but for his great kindness as well. That is what most will remember him for, and certainly what we at Beretta will remember as well.
