I have just returned from a cold, windy goose hunt in which my Beretta Xtrema 391 was the talk of the goose pit. We were sitting in the pit when a flight of 3 Canadas came in to our decoys. My buddy shot and the birds began to flare. I shot and knocked down my bird. Then I saw my buddy had hit his bird but not enough to down it. His next 2 shots missed cleanly. A second shot from my Beretta brought the bird down. (I will freely admit to some luck in that second shot.)

I was shooting 3 1/2" Remington Steel shot (#2s) and I can't say that I felt the recoil.
