The new Beretta Stonecoat provides exceptional corrosion, hardness and wear resistance. Consisting of a proprietary, multi-layer, metallic finish of nickel and chrome, Stonecoat also incorporates a final layer of PVD titanium/zirconium alloy coating. Stonecoat's resistance to salt-spray is up to ten times greater than that of other semi-autos on the market. Additionally, this durable finishing process is also very non-reflective - a benefit appreciated by hunters and competition shooters alike.

Additionally, this special edition Teknys Gold also features PVD coating on the trigger, gas-valve flange, magazine cap, bolt, bolt handle and carrier. The bolt and carrier are further enhanced by rich jewelling.
