Sako 85 Brown Bear

 The Sako 85 Brown Bear is ideal for the big game hunter who hunts North American and African game under the most demanding conditions. This model features an open adjustable rear sight and blade style front sight. The short free floated bull barrel has a band type front swivel. The patented Total Control Magazine Latch (TCL) prevents accidental release of the stainless steel magazine under the heaviest recoil or harshest hunting conditions. If desired the magazine may be top-loaded without being removed from the rifle. The forged one piece bolt with three locking lugs offers fast, smooth cycling with controlled round feed and mechanical case ejection.

• Barrel – Short, free-floating, cold-hammer forged bull barrel
• Trigger – Single stage with adjustable pull from 2 to 4lbs
• Action – Long size matched to cartridges; mechanical ejection and integral tapered scope mount dovetails
• Safety – Bolt handle lock allows loading and unloading of the rifle with the safety engaged
• Stock – Brown laminated hardwood finished in matte lacquer
• Sights – Adjustable open rear, blade style front and integral dovetail for scope mounts
• Magazine – Detachable and can be top loaded through the ejection port
