Sako’s Safari Rifle is built around the Sako 85 Large and XL action. These actions offer traditional Sako 85 features such as: mechanical ejection, controlled round feed, an integral dovetail scope mount rail and a one-piece forged bolt. The presentation grade walnut stock incorporates traditional hand-cut checkering and an ebony fore-end tip and pistol grip cap. A Pachmayr recoil pad completes the classic appearance of the handmade Safari stock.

Barrel – Free-floating, cold-hammer forged
Trigger– Single-stage with an adjustable pull from 2 to 4 lbs
Safety – Allows loading and unloading of the rifle with safety engaged
Sights – Special open sights with a quarter-rib type rear sight and band type front sight adjustable for windage.
