"Preserving
our natural resources has become a passion
that was instilled
in me by my father and my grandfather."

Ward
Burton’s passion for racing is equal to his passion
for the outdoors. Beretta is proud to partner with the Ward Burton
Wildlife Foundation to educate today’s youth about the
need for conservation of our natural resources. Winner of the
2002 Daytona 500, Burton long ago dedicated himself to natural
resource conservation.
Initially funded out of his NASCAR earnings, today the Ward
Burton Wildlife Foundation is a fast growing education-oriented
organization dedicated to promoting awareness for the need of
wildlife conservation, habitat enhancement, and proper stewardship
of America's natural resources. The foundation is dedicated to
preserving the natural environment for future generations.
“We realize that across North America, people are becoming
more aware of the need for protecting and preserving habitat
and wildlife resources,” says Burton. “Our goal is
to take that message nationwide, working with volunteers willing
to help our program. We believe that it is the inherent responsibility
of all sportsmen and conservationists to preserve wildlife, habitat,
traditions, and values that we hold so dearly. Working together,
Beretta and the WBWF can accomplish many great things that will
have a positive impact on future generations.”
