Team Beretta Continues Their Winning Ways

Accokeek, MD (June 30, 2011)  With the second half of the competitive clay target season about to begin, the men and women of Team Beretta look to continue their winning ways.  Strong showings by the entire team, particularly ladies senior team member Diane Sorentino and Dan Carlisle’s championships at the elite US Open, continued through the Texas State Shoot, with Beretta shooters taking home multiple championships.  A summary of their recent accomplishments include

•     US Open: Diane Sorentino showed everyone what it means to be a 3-time National Champion by winning the Masters Cup Ladies Championship, breaking 184/200 targets as well as taking home the FITASC Ladies Championship with a score of 89/100.  Fellow teammate Dan Carlisle demonstrated his continued dominance in sporting clays winning the Veterans Class-Main Event having broken 184/200 to bring home the championship.
•     Texas State Shoot: Team Beretta’s very own Texas stars shown brightly during the shoot starting with Jenni Clark.  Her TX State Ladies and FITASC Ladies Championships led the way, shooting a 159/200 to capture the ladies title and an 83/100 during the FITASC event.  A 178/200 by Theo Ribbs brought him the Junior Championship while Travis Mears’ 98/100 earned him the Via Con Dios Main Championship.  Former Olympian Haley Dunn garnered a Prelim Ladies Championship with an 81/100, along with an 80/100 for the 5-Stand Ladies RU.  Dan Carlisle capped off Team Beretta’s strong showing with his continued hot trigger, as he took home the Veterans Class-Main Event Championship with a 178/200.

As the summer temperatures continue to heat up, Team Beretta shows no signs of cooling off anytime soon as the telltale victory blue of Team Beretta continues to shine at the top of the podium.
