Magaine are difficult to seat properly

These are nice magazines, but in my articular Bobcat..a 1996 mfg..these magazine do not seat well when inserted. I have to push very hard and to the front to get them to seat and feel the magazine catch connect. I assume that the opening for the magazine latch is not quite large enough to allow them to seat properly without the extra effort. Several timeas I have put them in only to have them come out unexpectedly. I must consciously insert them very firmly with pressure towards the front and listen for the magazine catch t ensure they are seated. I have several older orig beretta mags for this model that work perfectly, unlike these new ones that do not.
