As a former Florida Highway Patrol Trooper (now retired) we used to have 92F (9mm) pistols until we changed to the 96F (40 cal) in the mid 90s. I liked my 92F, but my 96F beats it hands down and the 96, 11 round, double stack mags are utterly unbeatable. Yes they are hard to load initially, but after a while they will load a little easier and I love the 11 rounds not 10 like a lot of 40 caliber magazines hold plus one in the chamber. You never know when that extra round will make a difference. I've never had a Beretta 92F or 96F mag ever fail to load a round when I fired it and after wards they are easily disassembled for cleaning. Yeah, I know a lot of mags today you don't have to clean or oil, but I'm old school and nothing beats a clean, well cared for weapon and the mag is part of that weapon! Beretta ROCKS!
