No more plastic!

You better have a lot of patience. Small pins and springs. Very tough for me to install. I have arthritis though. Well worth it. Wish it came with the oversize mag release instead of the regular size one.

Buy this kit…high quality…excellent finish…

92 looks incredible but internal plastic looks pretty bad. Mag-release install only a bit tougher than guide rod-takes 1min. Trigger requires finesse; if not comfortable with small pins+springs don’t do it. If comfortable + have tools it takes 15-20min. Safety is a pain! Unless VERY comfortable with roll-pins+moving multiple tools+parts at once don’t do it. See social media for vids showing ALL steps. Take Ur time+use plastic/covered punches or can scratch slide. Remove/install pins+springs inside a bag; see social media+it will make sense; takes about 1hr. Rt side of OE safety is steel +same as kit. Magnet will stick to all OE parts; there R steel pieces inside. Roll pins punch easily, do not overdo and make sure UR at correct angle! Pins install easy, make sure fully seated before rotating safety or could mar slide. Kit looks OE when done. Trigger+Safety feel slightly different but function as OE; nothing different for guide-rod; mag release seems to have slightly stiffer spring.

Steel parts kit

Before I ordered this kit, I called Beretta about the D-spring since it does not come with it. You can order the separate trigger kit and the spring is included with it. I know that if you want to replace the polymer trigger, you'd want to replace the spring along with it in order to further improve the trigger pull/feel. The number for the spring is: EU00043. If I can add to this review later, I will do so after I receive the parts and install them. P.S. I normally do not like to read reviews that are written before a product is received and tried. You know the ones. Ones that talk about how great the product is "going" to be. And how well the product is "going" to perform. I just thought I'd write about the spring to avoid you having to order extra parts and to avoid having to wait for customer service to inquire about it.

M9A1

Perfect for your M9A1, though I wish I didn't have to pay for the safety lever assembly as the M9A1 already has a safety made out of steel. Don't be scared of the job, it's really simple. There's a useful video about it on youtube for prep. The only chore was the magazine release until I watched another video that told me to slide it in then hold it at an angle and it snaps right into place. You'll probably get it right by accident just like I and everyone else and be like, o-oh oh okay don't know how it worked but works for me! Along with some 3rd party aluminum grips from hogue, everything feels ace now with my M9A1. It's another $150 bucks but I highly recommend it it's a worthwhile upgrade to make to the gun. Be aware the black hogue grips won't be nearly as black as the original grip but it provides good contrast with the black steel of the gun. I just wish it had the beretta logo on it. It kind of feels like replacing the grips of a colt. Just not quite right but feel makes it ok

Great Kit

Great Kit ! Have Patience use zip lock bag for flying springs and take your time. Buy some grip screws in case you stirp yours taking off the Grips especially if you have the Allen/Hex grip screws.

Good solid upgrade.

There are plenty of great videos on installation of these parts out there. Not much is needed for tools. If you have a moderate degree of mechanical aptitude and do your homework install is not that difficult. I did it in under half hour. Beretta ships fast and every item I have purchased has been great. Enjoy!
