Thorn Resistant Jacket GTX
The sizing is reasonable; I'm 5' 11" and 215 pounds and an XL jacket fits well in the shoulders and in length. It accommodates layering of garments, such as wearing fleece tops, heavy sweatshirts, and vests. The sleeves are a bit long on me, though (my shirts are 35 1/2" length), and the cuffs are a disappointment. Cuff diameter is ca. 3 1/2" and there are no internal lycra cuffs to close the opening and protect your wrists, as on some Beretta and Orvis jackets. You close the cuffs by way of a velcro strap that is adjustable across the upper surface of the sleeve a solution that's not very comfortable for me. If hunting upland birds, there is a zippered back game bag. It only opens on the right side, though, and it will accommodate one pheasant at best. The zippered front pockets will not hold more than a couple of shotgun shells, so be prepared to wear a shell pouch on a belt at your waist, with the jacket riding up over it, or to wear a shoulder-strapped shell pouch.
