I saw on youtube where some kid bought a Hungarian P9-R or the Hungarian made FEG P-9-Revised. The P9HP, P9-35, and to some extent the P-9-M were all Fabrique Nationale Herstal P35 clones, but FEG decided to make a double action pistol similar to a Hi Power melded with a Smith & Wesson model 39 or 59, with the slide mounted decocker. I picked up some of these for a 92FS and decided to stuff one into the FEG. It is only about .12" too long so some minor work with a grinder, a file, some pliers, a torch and a Dremel, and I had some great magazines for another fabulous European pistol. The ergonomics on the FEG are horrible, but the trigger is delightfully superb. I will be dissecting that FEG to analyze why the trigger is so darn fantastic. Without these Beretta magazines, I'd be limited to Brady Bill era 10 round mags, which are not at all bad, but I think the hacked Beretta mags are better. So my 92FSs are Colorado compliant, and I have a reliable Hungarian made spare gun now too.
