Must have!

A GREAT upgrade to the px4. Takes out a lot of slack and the break is really smooth. These videos helped me easily install, too. http://youtu.be/y0AkCBUgL50

Easy

Easy to install, just watch that top pin and stay off the frame so you don't crack the frame. Took awhile to align the trigger bar, into the trigger group as it seats into frame. Patience is the name of the game, the YouTube videos on this helped. Difference is quite noticeable in single action.

Excellent Upgrade

Definitely Beretta quality item. Installation is fairly simple, but CAUTION when watching the U-Tubes, as most seem to avoid the tricky parts (I bought the AGI Armorer's DVD for the PX4, which really helped). Suggest you examine the hammer pivot pin housing on the new group to note the retainer spring that needs to be depressed prior to removing hammer pivot pin (pointed end job); also, may want to remove trigger to make installation easier, but that has its quirks too. All-in-all, really smoothed out the trigger pull, seems to give a cleaner and more precise break; did not notice any difference in length of take-up pull (did not measure), but has much better feel. This, with new competition metal trigger, reduced pull by about 28% on my compact.

Very nice

I purchased this competition trigger group Works fantastic immediately I saw a decrease in trigger weight on the single action pool and a couple pounds difference on the Double Action Pool I would recommend this to anyone that have a PX4 Storm there's not much we can do out there for our guns so I got every Beretta option available for my PX4 compact Trijicon tritium night sights Cougar 8000 D spring which made single action and double action again very noticeable I just love it I had a guy install it for twenty bucks well worded

Very slick!

Drops right in. Trigger pull is crisp clean and feels much more precision oriented. Big improvement. Learning to install was 'easy-medium' difficulty with no special tools needed. Just a good bench/block/hammer/punches.

Burgin

I liked the Compact Carry PX4 Storm so much I put this kit in other PX4 pistols from full size to compact 9mm & .40 S&W, but not .45ACP. It's a fabulous piece of kit! The first shooting session with the PX 4 Compact Carry was so incredible, I immediately wanted a full sized version too. The kit is kind of a quasi-drop in assembly, but it requires no actual fitting, with files, reamers, or hones. It was pretty darn easy to install. If you do get stuck watch a few Youtube videos, and take the best of what you can from each one, but if it doesn't feel right, stop, and do more research, or go to a gunsmith. Add the duty spring kit, and a Wilson Combat or Wolff mainspring, and the PX 4 becomes truly spectacular, not that it is not already a fine pistol. The other additions like stealth decocking/slide release levers, sights, and mag release buttons are also nice, but the PX4 with the trigger, but action upgrades are so nice it just does NOT feel at all like any common polymer pistol.

Nice item not sure if must have item

The quality of the item is great if not excellent. Is it worth the $115? Not sure about that. In my opinion it is an upgrade but only certain folks will see a notable difference to make your PX4 better. If you have the money then I would recommend it. If you don't have the knowledge for the install I wouldn't. This is a "drop in" unit but its not as easy as you think. Maybe after you have a few but its not that easy to swap and there aren't that many detailed videos on the procedure.

Replacing Trigger Group

Once you remove the backstrap and break the px4 down, this video is all you need to get the job done............... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ9zBN_0Oek One this to keep in mind is when placing the pin near the hammer back in, there is a spring on the other side that may cause a slight problem. You can push it down to move it out of the way or I just tapped the pin a few times lightly with a hammer and it seated properly.

Easy Upgrade!

This is the best upgrade you can make on your PX-4. I own 2 one in 40 S&W and a new purchase in 9 mm. Both compacts. Since both guns weigh 27.2 I purchased the 9 mm to take advantage of the reduced recoil. The trigger group was simple to install, even without instructions. It really made a tremendous difference. I used an #11 Wilson chrome spring it is averaging 3.43 single action. It's so slick and fast you must watch out or you will double tap before you know it. I am using this 9 mm for competition. I love It! Every edge you can get helps.
