PX4 Slide

I just finished installing a rear sight on my Beretta PX4 with my new Range Master bought from BerettaUSA. The written instructions that came with the Range Master state that the "stainless tabs should NEVER come in contact with the slide." However the white plastic tabs furnished with the Range Master would not fit between the PX4 slide and the stainless support tabs. Ended up using scraps of leather. Thought Beretta would have tested this before selling it.

Works beautifully for many guns, but not the APX

The APX sights are installed in a way that requires the sight pusher to exert its force on the very bottom of the sight where it slides into the channel, not the upper portion as most sight pushers do. I managed to snap the front blade trying to force my front sight on. This makes quick work of sight installation on other handguns, just not the APX.

Does not work for 92X front sight

I bought this tool to swap front and rear sights on a Beretta 92X. I started with the rear sights. As another poster has mentioned, the nylon inserts included don't quite fit under the safety levers on the slide. I was able to trim them to fit, and the removal and re-installation was quite easy and didn't mar my slide. (One could also remove the safety levers prior to sight removal.) However, when proceeding to the front sight, I discovered that the distance between the edge of the shoe and the sight pusher block is too short to accommodate the 92X front sight. It is very annoying to purchase an expensive tool for my Beretta pistol from the Beretta website only to discover it does not actually accommodate the front sight of said Beretta pistol. 2 stars because at least it was very easy to change the rear sight.
