Terrific-- size up 2x

Great looking, functional jacket with good mobility. I am 6'3, 200 lbs-- at the max for XL (56) sizing. I have a heavier shooting jacket-- so wear this one with 1-2 thin layers underneath.

Bring Back Active Mars Hunting Jacket

Was looking to get another Active Mars Hunting Jacket for my kids. This was the closest I could find. It's stylish and works as a car coat or for short walks outside but manufacture quality is not even close to the hunting jacket. Lighter and with small holes for breathability, I guess, it won't retain heat if outside for extended periods. I returned this coat and wish you would offer the hunting jacket in the USA as I can see it in Europe but am not able to ship it to the USA.

Very classic, super functional jacket

Just got the jacket, love the fit, true to size, got a lot of compliments first day out. Love the functionality of this jacket, warm, rain and wind resistant and great for layering.

Exceptional

I’ve had the snowdrop plaid jacket for two weeks and it’s definitely a favorite. It’s simple, comfortable, easy to wear and the quality is high. Hunted pheasant opener yesterday in nasty wet and windy weather. The jacket was an incredibly effective outer layer. Last weekend I wore it to tailgate and a football game. I highly recommend it.

Nice enough for hunting or a trip to Diner.

This is a great jacket! With my picky tastes in finding the right jacket it satisfied many qualities I was looking for during the Pennsylvania cold season. It is a perfect outer layer to break wind & rain. Based on the cost & look I was expecting a very thick jacket but it was thinner which allows a Beretta Fleece or other layers to go underneath. My zipper zips up from the left side instead of the right where it normally is on Mens jackets made in the U.S. Also it has 2 pockets only, but they're very large ones to fit almost anything.. All the zippers on this jacket are top quality. The inner breathable leather lining is pretty good quality as well. At 6 feet tall and at about 170 I went with the largest size available the 58 Europe/Italian & it fits well. Size 58 feels like an XXL or maybe XXXL in american size.... Sleeves & coat length feel True to Size though sometimes going one size up is helpful depending on what you are wearing underneath.

Paper Thin, Face-Palm Jacket

Wow, this is a $1000 dollar "3 layer" jacket? After feeling the jacket in my hands for the first time I went through bouts of both laughing and crying at the same time. The coat looks great, but the "3 layers" it supposedly has are paper-thin, I kid-you-not! I'm at a total loss of how this jacket is considered "3 layers," it is literally a thin outside shell of a jacket. When I tried it on it felt like I was wearing wall paper. Granted I got the jacket on sale, but I still spent a lot of money on a jacket in which I justified the price because it was supposedly wool and had "3 layers", which to me indicates that it is supposed to be a thick jacket! It seems like I'm missing 2 layers! Extremely disappointing. Absolutely an un-justifiable price for this jacket. This should be listed for under $100!

Great blend of traditional design, wool and high tech perforamce

I've been looking at this jacket for a while and finally pulled the trigger. As expected the fit and finish quality is A+. It looks brighter green in the pictures, more subtle toned down colors when I received it, that's a good thing. Beretta sizing is always a challenge so here's my experience. The fit is surprisingly spacious for a Euro size - I usually order 1-2 sizes up for the euro cloths, but not needed for this jacket. I'm 6-2 200lb athletic build and usually fit into a 58 or snugly into a 56. US size usually XL for layering under or L for no layers. XL sometimes needed for my 35" sleeve. I first got a 58 and I was swimming in it! Exchanged for a 56 and great for layering and sleeve (like US XL). Probably 54 better for a more slim fit tailored look if the sleeve wasn't an issue. Last observations, surprisingly light weight, almost like a mid weight rain shell, so layering in even cool weather is necessary. The hood/collar is stiff rubs my neck and is slightly a little annoying.

Excellent jacket

Excellent quality. I use as an outer shell for outdoors and riding my motorcycle. The wool exterior wicks water and is very apealing

Great coat ... true to siza

Like all Beretta products, this jacket is high quality and very functional. I have worn it as a stand-alone in +28 weather, as well as a shell in 0 degree weather - and varying temperatures in between. In all cases, I was warm and comfortable. The wind-proof technology is fabulous. As for sizing, I am 6’4 inches, 190 pounds, and the EU54 fit exactly as it should; equivalent to a US 44. The shoulders, sleeves, chest, and body length are just right. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the purchase.
